What the brief is
One piece for one race. Portrait, 1:1.5, with the bottom fifth of the sheet left clear for the type. The runner’s name, the race, the date and the finish time are set there by RECORD.
Editions are a thousand, numbered. Your name prints in the corner of every copy, and your page here links out to wherever your work lives.
The commission is an artwork in its own right, made for one race and intended to live beyond race day.
